Kapil Sharma’s Firangi Set To Hit Theatres This November

Official trailer of Kapil Sharma starrer Firangi is out now. It is set in the pre-independence era in the year 1920 when Indian Freedom Movement was gaining momentum.

In the trailer, Kapil is narrating a story to a kid which is actually his own story. Kapil plays ‘Mange’ who is considered useless by his parents and the society but has an ability to treat back pain of people by kicking them and this ability gets him a job to work for Britishers.
He also falls in love with ‘Sargi’ played by Ishita Dutta but her grandfather won’t let him marry her as he works for the Britishers. Now in all this tension, he has to choose between his job and his love.
Unlike everyone in his village, Mange believes that British are good people and won’t harm the villagers. Due to this thinking of Mange, the villagers think he is becoming like a ‘firangi’. However, a turn of events prove him wrong and as he realises that, he turns against the foreign rulers.

Kapil was previously seen in romantic comedy Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon(2015). From the trailer of Firangi, Kapil is seen doing romance and serious drama. It will be interesting to see him in this kind of role.

The film is directed by Rajiv Dhingra and produced by Kapil himself. The film stars Kapil Sharma along with Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in lead roles. The film was shot primarily in Punjab and Rajasthan. Firangi’s soundtrack is released by Zee Music Company. As of now two songs are out namely ‘Oye Firangi’ sung by Sunidhi Chouhan and ‘Sajna Sohne Jiha’ sung by Jyoti Nooran.

Firangi is set to release on 24 November 2017. Let’s see how Sharma’s starrer movie performs at the box office.
